Diane Bacha, editor and general manager (dbacha@mkeonline.com)
Diane moved to Wisconsin in 1991, and one of her earliest memories of that time is watching a Packers game with Don Majkowski as quarterback. Despite that, she stuck around and things have kept getting better. You can spot her at almost any coffee shop, ordering lattes (skim, large) and trying to fill up punch cards. She has an extensive collection of floaty pens.
Gina Dragutinovich, advertising manager (gdragutinovich@mkeonline.com)
Gina, a self-described media junkie, wonders if her absorption in the world of mass media comes more from an interest in the media's power to inform, persuade and entertain, or from an all-too-early-exposure to news anchor Tom Brokaw, whose sultry baritone inspired her first and most longstanding crush.
Dave Lee, copy editor (dlee@mkeonline.com)
Reading was Dave's worst class in elementary school. So, God punished him by making him a copy editor. But don't get him wrong, Dave likes the idea that he gets paid to read and write whimsical headlines for MKE. His previous gigs include stints at The Charlotte Observer, The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and the Palladium-Item in Richmond, Ind. Dave also writes the blog Geek@Heart for MKE.
Tuc Krueger, designer (ckrueger@mkeonline.com)
After serving five years in Alcatraz prison, Wisco native Tuc Krueger escaped the mean streets of San Francisco to head back east. Crash landing in Milwaukee, he accidentally fell into a furniture re-upholstering machine. Now recovered, he can be found sippin' a hometown brew over a game of pinball, or playing drums along to anything from polka to punk.
Sara Oceguera, multimedia producer (soceguera@mkeonline.com)
Sara is a Hello Kitty-loving neat freak and organizational spazz with ties to Arizona (10+ years), Georgia (10+ years) and the Midwest from 2004 to 2007. Never having experienced a proper winter, the promise possibility of snow and cold temperatures led her to Milwaukee. She was disappointed by her first Milwaukee winter. Her second winter boasted 40- and 50-degree days. She up and (temporarily?) left the Midwest the day before it started getting pounded with snow, only to cry a few weeks later upon learning that Milwaukee broke all sorts snowfall records--without her. No one is sure where she went, but some speculate it involved an anime-inspired murder/suicide pact. Only time will tell.

Joe Vince, managing editor (jvince@mkeonline.com)
Joe Vince is the managing editor for MKE and is thrilled that after about seven years in the field of journalism he's landed his dream job. Well, maybe not his dream job (that would be writing comic books professionally), but it's pretty damn close.
Katherine Bryja, design editor (kbryja@mkeonline.com)
Kathy traded in South Carolina sweet tea and fried okra for Wisconsin brew and brats at MKE's launch. Current obsessions: The Office. Talking to Milo and Mischa on the phone (her cats are on extended holiday at Mom and Dad's house). Bibambop at Han Kuk Kwan on Prospect. Finding the perfect pair of black Mary Jane's. Hot dogs. Online window shopping. NYC. Wasabi-coated peas. Blueberry vodka and Red Bull (though she acknowledges that anyone who admits to drinking Red Bull is pretentious). That is all.
Lilledeshan Bose, reporter (lbose@mkeonline.com)
Until she moved to Milwaukee, Lilledeshan Bose has never lived more than 50 miles away from an ocean. She has written travelogues, fiction, teen novels, essays, columns, movie scripts and articles in Asia and North America. On her B-list: Bjork, Brady St., Belgian chocolate, the Beatles, blank notebooks, Broken Social Scene, bass guitar(ists) and badass bookstores.
Tim Cigelske, reporter (tcigelske@mkeonline.com)
Tim Cigelske grew up in rural Wisconsin with pet goats and a cat named People. He has been employed as a warehouse worker, chicken transporter, cheese and sausage stocker, Yellow Book deliverer, pet sitter, bellhop and airplane loader. He has a Marquette University journalism degree that he is still paying for. Tim lives in Whitefish Bay with his fiery redheaded wife Jess and their fiery mini beagle Sadie.
Adam Lovinus, editorial assistant (alovinus@mkeonline.com)
Adam is a graduate of Marquette University's journalism program (2003) and lifelong Milwaukeean from the Washington Heights neighborhood. When he's not tracking calendar events and sneaking snarky commentary at MKE, chances are he's doing something musical. Guitar, bass and GarageBand are his favorite toys, along with his epic iPod. E-mail Adam for a game of ping-pong or chess, if you so dare.
